Brian K. Lebowitz, PHD - Clinical Neuropsychologist- Offices in Suffolk County, NY. Dr. Lebowitz is a graduate of Penn State University and the University of Cincinnati. He has completed postdoctoral residencies at the Tampa VA Hospital and Harvard Medical School -Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology at Stony Brook University Hospital and a Research Associate in the Department of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School. Cheryl Weinstein, PhD is board-certified in clinical neuropsychology and her primary focus is on the development of treatment-oriented neuropsychological evaluations for sixteen-year-olds to middle-aged adults with medical, emotional and learning complications. She looks at the influence of medical disorders (e.g., diabetes, cardiovascular disease, lupus, multiple sclerosis, sleep disorders) on young adults through to the geriatric population. An emphasis is placed on developing “good cerebral hygiene” and maximizing cognitive strengths as part of the treatment plan. In addition, Dr. Weinstein has served as past president of the Massachusetts Neuropsychological Society and was Director of Neuropsychology in the Department of Psychiatry at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She continues to be involved in the training of neuropsychology fellows at the BIDMC and is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Harvard Medical School.
